GF Technovation’s solution, the VITALS two-in-one solution for detecting vital signs and falls, has been shortlisted for the Health Care & Well-Being category of the 2nd Smart Ageing Awards (2022).
The award program is held by Golden Age Foundation (GAF) to recognize outstanding services, products and programs that bring quality, independence and dignity to the golden generation, allowing innovative ideas and solutions to be promoted to help shape the smart city of the future.
VITALS uses BCG sensing technology to detect heart beats, breathing and the vibration of tiny movements. When any indicator shows anomalies or the sensor indicates that a bed-bound person has left the bed unassisted, the system will issue an alert to the persons in charge, via a smart phone, tablet or the dashboard. Each sensor can have personalised setting for the person being monitored. Ut also sends notifications to carers as reminders on things to do.
GF Technovation’s shortlisted solution will be exhibited at the 8th Golden Age Expo and Summit (2023), to be held on 11-13 August 2023 at Hall 5G of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Come visit the GF Technovation booth at F25-F32, and talk to our colleagues to learn more about how VITALs can help healthcare workers monitor vital signs and bed-exits, in order to provide optimal care for the elderly.
